Well I am now in Cape Town, SA. I went on the tour of Robben Island yesterday, the place where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years or his jail sentence. I was sick for a while. I couldn't really walk or do much else for about 4 days. And the place where I ended up bed stricken in Jeffrey's Bay, a really famous surfing spot. I want to go there so bad just to surf, but oh well. I was out on the waves for about 1 hour only and caught only one. I met a swat team South African policeman. He gave us a lift for about an hour or two to DURBAN. He was the bodyguard for Mandela's children and for Tom Cruise and his wife (to mention a few). He was telling us all about the different violence before and after the changes in governments in SA. Also he was showing us his AK47 bullet wounds in his shoulder and chest. Pretty intense guy. No lions or big animals yet. But I did cross paths with a green tree snake.
