Hello Aaron:

For all your African maps, I would have thought you lived there instead of [my childhood town and state were inserted here. Personally, I think it was meant to intimidate me.]

Regarding this web page of yours:

http://www.exittoafrica.com/media/images/maps/mar_southern-ufo.gif

I see you like my SA UFO map. So do I. It took me almost 20 years of bone crunching research and C-language programming to create these maps.

Naturally, I would like to be credited for that monumental effort, and not simply ripped off as you obviously did from this web page:

[Here the web address of this individual was inserted]

The image was updated recently, so my map will show 2003 in the upper RH corner, while your purloined copy still shows 1999. The *U* logo shows clearly on the upper LH corner, so I could track it down even though you changed the filename.

By leaving off all credits, you imply that this work is somehow your property. The link to this uncredited [is this a real word?] image "Africa: UFO Sightings 1999" suggests that the data were all in a single year, when in fact they are all events registered up to that date.

I must demand that you give full and proper credit to my database website:

[Here the homepage of the individual was inserted so I could find out]

-and the proper SA map page here-

[Here a link was inserted so I could rip off the current image]

... or else just take down the page with the uncredited [is this a real word?] image, bogus filename and link.

I have been thru [This definitely isn't a real word] all this before with others. [This is where he threatens me, I didn't take anything out]

Sincerely and RSVP [Here he indicates that I should respond, but the acronym RSVP actually, in a modern colloquial sense, is used in a friendly way as, "Respond as soon as possible, please"]

- [Individual's name was here]

To be fair, if you do a search on Google and use the keywords (copy and paste please) ufo sightings "southern africa", you will find this individual's years of hard work, that I have no idea how I came across it, except that I am sure that I found it on a random website, like mine, that ripped it off of another website that ripped it off another website and somewhere down the line, the original theif knew that he was infact indiscretionably taking, dare I say stealing, from the owner of this image. It should be pretty obvious which link it is.
