Traveling with your own guide provides extraordinary flexibility to your travel in Africa. Your guide will provide you with a realistic budget, help purchase plane tickets, make reservations and act as a liason while traveling. The cost of hiring a guide consists of two parts, covering the travel costs of the guide and the Guide Fee.
Covering The Guide Travel Costs Includes paying for all travel arrangements from home to Africa, while traveling in Africa and room and board while in Africa. If you need clarity on what a consists of a guide cost and what doesn't, please email us.
Guide Fees The fee is charged as a daily rate and differs based on group size. For client groups of less than 3 people the charge is $60 per person per day. For client groups of 3 to 8 people the charge is $50 per adult per day and $25 per child (under 16) per day. A group discount can be negotiated for client groups of 8 or more.
