Berber Whiskey does not have whiskey in it.

Berber Whiskey is synonymous in Morocco for tea, mint tea.  The tea can be so strongly laced with sugar that it melts your teeth.  Berbers traditionally do not drink alcohol.  Berbers are even offended when one offers them a drink.
